Who We Are
Marcelina Suchocka
Born in Bialystok, Poland, Marcelina Suchocka is a Percussion Fellow at the New World Symphony. She has performed as an extra/substitute percussionist with the Chicago Symphony, Kansas City Symphony, Utah Symphony and Hudson Valley Philharmonic. She was also an Associate Percussionist with the Civic Orchestra of Chicago.
Britton-Rene Collins
Percussionist Britton-René Collins has dedicated her artistry to shaping an equitable community for all musicians to thrive equally. Britton-René is a winner of the 2020 Concert Artists Guild Victor Elmaleh Competition and was awarded the Ambassador Prize for exceptional musicianship and demonstrating an active passion for creating social change through her music.
Mariana Ramirez
Mariana Ramirez is originally from Mexico City. Based in NYC, Mariana currently holds the percussion chair for the Broadway show Six. Mariana is the founder of Excelsis Percussion and also has performed with National Symphony of Mexico, Orquesta de Mineria, with Orpheus Chamber Ensemble, Darthmouth Symphony, South Florida Symphony among many other ensembles.

Aya Kaminaguchi
Percussionist Aya Kaminaguchi earned her master’s degree from the Boston Conservatory with a full scholarship. She is the winner of the Percussive Arts Society Audition, Aspen Music Festival Soloist Competition and a finalist of the International Marimba Competition in Belgium. She has performed with numerous orchestras, including the Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra, Hyogo Performing Arts Center Orchestra, Chamber Orchestra of Hong Kong, Palm Beach Opera, New World Symphony, and toured worldwide with "Star Wars: In Concert”. She is currently the Principal Percussionist of the New Haven Symphony and member of the Sarasota Opera, Hudson Valley Philharmonic and Excelsis Percussion. She is a sponsored artist by SABIAN Cymbals.
